John stands up stating that he likes some things but there are also many things he DOES NOT like. He says that he likes the constant sound of music. When he is talking to Mond, he quotes Shakespeare and is surprised that he knew what he was talking about because he had read it too.
Its sad that John goes to see him mom when she is ill and dying and she thinks he is Pope. He shakes her and has to bring her memory back to him being her son and not the man she slept with.
I want to know more about what is in this world and all the different people and places there are! Another question is, how many people outside this brave new world know of what goes on in there if there are any!
Lenina has been taking very many doses of soma, making her pass out and be somewhat stupor. you can't get addicted to soma as the book says but why Lenina taking so much?
John is a guy who is different from everyone else because he can read unlike these other people. He sacrifices himself for his people and what he believes in. He could see that world differently because unlike from the reservation, women don't go through pregnancy, age, gain weight and just stay basically perfect. He see's people from where he's from, behaving like REAL humans. Chapter six shows that in this world, women and men are much different from maybe today's society. Women are the ones asking for men and throwing themselves at these guys with no strings or feelings attached. In the real world its more opposite in some cases. The women are the ones searching for a committed relationship and get the feelings for these men while the guys are the ones getting no feeling and playing all these girls. This book makes guys actually look good and worth it.
